Full set of armor in Levelled list

Featured Replies

I was wondering if it's possible to add a specific full set of armor to a levelled list so that for instance a shop always had the full set.

I've tried making a LL for each of the armor pieces and putting them in a LL but it doesn't work. It only gives 1 random armor piece.

I think you need to create a mesh that has all the armour pieces in it so it's a single mesh. Have a look at BoundMythicDawnArmor or ArenaRaiment...

You could try creating a levelled list that has the full set and then putting those levelled lists in the vendor chest. Each levelled list would be for the full set, not for the individual pieces. The levelled list in a vendor chest always picks the count that you specify so it needs to select from the levelled lists that are for a complete set of armour, not for the individual pieces.

Another option is to set the vendor chest up like Umbra, the NPC from Clavicus Vile. She always has the complete set of armour in her inventory. So you would put six levelled lists in the vendor chest, one list for each piece of the armour. Umbra only has two levels because you aren't supposed to do the quest until you are at least level 15, but it's possible to kill Umbra before you get the quest, so there's a weaker version of the armour.

I think that last option is the correct way to do it if you can't create a single mesh. So you'd have a levelled list for each piece. That levelled list would select the proper version of that piece according to the player's level. There would be six levelled lists in the vendor chest, one of each piece.

Thanks I'll try it.

Don't you just need to change the Count field to 4? Or is that a per-object Count rather than a container total?

It's per object so it will randomize the pieces.

Did you get it working?

It works for LLs that goes in containers but not in other LLs.

I solved that by adding the LLs for each piece into a new LL and given it a high count so that it that the resulting mix will (almost) always contain at least 1 of each piece.

Perhaps I’m not understanding what you’re trying to do. This is for a vendor chest, isn’t it? Then you don’t need to have levelled lists inside each other.

It's for both. It's working now.
